U of T Engineering Research Conference 2025

The U of T Engineering Research Conference (UTERC) is an annual graduate student conference run by students, for students. This year marks the 4th in-person iteration of UTERC. UTERC is an all day event, where keynote speakers as well as poster and oral presenters will be in attendance. UTERC is a great opportunity for students to practice presentation skills and network with their peers from all engineering departments!

UTERC will be held in Myhal Centre for Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship (55 St George St). Poster presentations will be held in the lobby while oral presentations will be held in various rooms on the first floor.

You can submit an oral (5-minute powerpoint) or poster (3-5 minutes) presentation. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred format.

Yes - UTERC is an opportunity for U of T graduate students to present their research and network with fellow students. Students from all programs (PhD, MASc, MEng) and engineering departments are encouraged to apply. Undergraduate students are welcome to attend.

Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified by the week of August 19.

Yes, judges will select top presenters among oral/poster presentations.
