AMIGAS invites all our grad community to a Resume & Cover Letter workshop in order to help you showcase your talents, skills and accomplishments during your job application process. The workshop will be held on Friday, January 26th from 12:30 pm to 14:30 pm, in GB202.
In this workshop, we will guide you, whether you are in first year, about to graduate or have already graduated, through the process of developing a strong expression of who you are and what makes you a fitting candidate. We will also provide you the tools to customize your resume and cover letter to suit a position and company, by teaching you how to describe the value of accomplishment-based statements and demonstrating relevant transferable skills on your applications.
This workshop is suitable for all grad students, either in their first year or final year, and it is beneficial for your job searching journey!
If you already have a resume and cover letter, we encourage you to bring them with you, either printed or on your tablet, so you can work directly on these versions.
Lunch and drinks will be provided.
