Celebrating National Postdoc Appreciation Week, the Office of the Vice Dean of Graduate Studies invites U of T Engineering postdocs for an afternoon of pizza, conversation, and collage-making to ‘design your research.’ No materials or previous experience are needed!
After the the session you will be able to:
- Develop confidence in presenting research ideas through non-traditional mediums (e.g., a collage) to expand the toolkit of communication strategies when engaging with various audiences.
- Engage in self-reflection and peer feedback to assess the effectiveness of collage-based communication efforts, developing an appreciation for the importance of continuous learning and receiving feedback within research communications.
- Learn and discover resources available to postdoctoral fellows from SGS and VDG to expand their knowledge of resources and programs available to U of T Engineering postdoctoral fellows.
