Info Session: 2025 Three Minute Thesis

December 12, 2024 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Please join the Centre for Graduate Professional Development at the School of Graduate Studies for an information session about the university-wide 2025 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) program. Participating in 3MT encourages graduate researchers to explain highly specialized research to non-experts and to articulate the importance of that research. If you are a graduate student thinking about taking part, or a faculty member or administrator looking for more information about the program, this info session is for you. We will explain how 3MT runs at U of T: the rules, the judging criteria, the required workshop, and the schedule. We will outline what makes a successful presentation and discuss some common presentation mistakes. We will have time to answer any questions you may have.
