Grad Experience Conference: What Now? Navigating your New Reality After Grad School

The Grad Experience Conference is an annual event designed for graduate students nearing the completion of their programs and preparing to transition out of grad school.

It covers topics such as :

  • developing employability skills
  • building professional networks
  • managing the identity shifts that many students experience

Guest Speakers :

  1. Dr. David Kim – Warden, Hart House; Lecturer, OISE
  2. Dr. Jessica Wurster   – Graduate Career Educator, Career Exploration & Education
  3. Selected alumni of graduate programs

Tentative Schedule:

  • 10:00  am   –  10:15 am: Welcome & Networking Coffee 
  • 10:15  am   –  11:30 am: Workshop : A New Approach to Networking: How to Create & Maintain Connections After Graduation by Dr. Jessica Wurster’s
  • 11:30  am   –  12:00 pm: Lunch & Social 
  • 12:00  pm   –    1:30 pm: Lunch continues & Alumni Panel Sharing Session 
  • 1:45    pm   –    2:30 pm: Talk :  From Classroom to Career: Lessons Learned and Hiring Insights  by Dr. David Kim

Gain practical tips & strategies, and network with peers, guest speakers, and alumni!
